Want to participate in your local community? Become a sponsor for Jersey City Soccer Association and support youth in your area.
Jersey City Soccer Association has had travel teams to augment our recreation program for more than 40 years. This year, the Association is pleased to inform you that we have grown our Travel program from two teams just a few short years ago, to fifteen teams this Fall, including three girls teams! This program is designed to provide additional developmental opportunities for our youth with the ability and desire to play at a higher level of competition. Key aspects of our program are as follows:
Our teams train twice weekly minimum, two sessions per week with professional, paid trainers from the SEFT (School of Elite Football Training).
Volunteer coaches hold state and/or national licenses, participate in additional professional development sponsored by the association, and we select only coaches who have a passion for the game.
We keep our player costs lower than other clubs because we obtain sponsors for our teams, and compute our prices only to cover our costs. It is an extremely good value.
We play in the Fall and Spring seasons in the EDP and/or Northern Counties Youth Soccer League (NCSA). In addition our home matches are played at our new turf soccer field at the Caven Point Sports Complex in Jersey City, and away matches are played locally in Hudson County and surrounding Northern NJ counties.
We hold tryouts for our teams each year in the Spring. As we have openings for additional players, announcements will be made on the association's home page and on this page, but feel free to inquire at any time.
COACH WITH US
We are always looking to add talented, passionate volunteer coaches to our staff who are interested in an exciting and rewarding experience training and coaching our youth in the beautiful game. We will support you with licensing opportunities, equipment and a training curriculum to make you successful.
